PURPOSE:To prevent the mispunch due to a keying mistake, by displaying and at the same time storing temporarily the keying information given through a keyboard into a memory and punching the stored information to a desired medium after confirming the displayed information. CONSTITUTION:A desired medium like a paper tape, a paper card, etc. is punched on the basis of the keying information given through a keyboard 1. In this case, the information fed from the keyboard 1 is fetched to a control part 2 to be written to the 1st buffer 4 as well as to be displayed at a display part 3. When the keying information displayed at the part 3 is normal, a punching indication is supplied through the keyboard 1. Then a punch control part 6 is started, and the keying information of the 1st buffer is read out. Then a desired medium is punched, and at the same time the writing destination of the keying information is changed to the 2nd buffer 5 from the 1st buffer 4. In such a way, the keying information given from the keyboard 1 is punched after confirming it at the part 3. This can prevent the mispunch due to a keying mistake. |
