PURPOSE:To facilitate the starting operation at an upward slope by a structure wherein an unidirectional rotary device preventing the backward rotation of car wheels is provided so as to be freely disengage able between the pivoting member of a transmission coupled to the car wheels and a car body. CONSTITUTION:The counter shaft 7 of a transmission 5 coupled to the car wheels is constructed as a rotary member 1, to which the member A of the unidirectional rotary device 3 is fixed. In addition, the member B of the unidirectional rotary device 3 is coupled to the car body 2 so as to be axially slidable without rotating each other by means of a key way 9 and a key 10. Furthermore, the members A and B are rendered to freely engage and disengage with each other manually or power-operatedly. The rotation of the rotary member 1 in the direction to run the car wheels backward is checeked by the engagement of the member B with the member A. |
