The present invention relates to a booster charge of compressed secondary explosive, which is characterised by a special geometry. The booster charge contains a conical hollow cylinder into which a detonator or an electrical fuse can be introduced with suction, displacing the air. The walls of this hollow cylinder consist of a material which, though elastic, re-assumes the original shape when the forces acting thereon, for example during the introduction of the fuse, disappear. The walls of the hollow cylinder thus surround the detonator, which has been introduced into the latter, in close contact, similar to the force of a spring. The geometry of the body in which the secondary explosive is located also makes it possible for the secondary explosive to come to lie as a cover above the fuse bottom to be introduced, so that perfect propagation of the detonation is possible.
