The driving motor 5 has two windings in series with the switches 121, 1211, and a phase-displacing condenser connectible in series with the winding connected to the open switch, by the switches. The motor circuit includes a reversing switch (by which current may be interrupted or fed to either switch 121, 1211), actuated manually, mechanically or photoelectrically. In another embodiment, Fig. 5 (not shown), the channels for the web sections have slots facing outwardly into the slide channels formed in the outer side of the rail. A return spring is situated in each slider channel. In both embodiments, two synchronous driving motors may be used at opposite ends of the rail and connected by a cable 23 in the space 24 or a central space of the rail.
