1. Lighting fixture frame having four walls (1, 1', 2, 2') which are at right angles to one another and which bound a light outlet opening ; each wall (1, 1', 2, 2') has a coupling side piece with a cut-out portion (1011, 2011) at its ends ; the cut-out portions of two walls which abut in a corner region are directed against one another ; the walls (1, 1', 2, 2') are connected to one another in each corner region in that the coupling flanks - intersect, - engage into one another and interlock by means of their cut-out portions (1011, 2011), and - are secured in the interlocked position, characterised in that on the inside of the lighting fixture frame, the walls have a rim (10, 20) all round, which is U-shaped in cross-section and has a free marginal side piece (101, 102) ; that the cut-out portions (1011, 2011) are arranged in the free marginal side pieces (101, 201) of the rims (10, 20) ; that in the free marginal side piece (101) of one wall (1) (hereinafter referred to as the longitudinal wall) the cut-out portion (1011) is open towards a covering border (11) of the longitudinal wall, where the covering border (11) - extends on the side of the longitudinal wall (1) which is opposite the rim (10) and - is bent into the space surrounded by the lighting fixture frame ; that the other wall (2) (hereinafter referred to as the transverse wall) has a locking side piece (21) which engages the covering border (11) of the adjacent longitudinal wall (1) from below and is secured in this position by a catch connection, whereby the mutually interlocked free marginal side pieces (101, 201) are held so as to be in engagement with one another ; and that the bottom parts (103, 203) of the rims (10, 20) are cut away so as to have a mutual connection which is practically without gaps. |
