Drive device for a swivel-out sliding cover of a motor-vehicle roof, having an electric motor, by means of which the sliding cover can be driven via a gear, at least one threaded cable and a cover-adjusting unit connected to the threaded cable. The drive device includes, furthermore, a switching device which is drive-connected to the cover-adjusting unit and is activated as a function of the position of the cover-adjusting unit and by means of which the current supply to the electric motor can be cut off in the position of the cover-adjusting unit corresponding to the closed position of the sliding cover. Arranged between the cover-adjusting unit and the switching device is a shift coupling, by means of which the drive connection between the cover-adjusting unit and the switching device can be broken. <IMAGE> |
