PURPOSE:To protect a type wheel when printing roll paper, and to position printing accurately when printing sheet paper by mounting a detachable protecting cover to the bottom of the electronic apparatus and forming an opening section opposed to the type wheel to the protecting cover according to the method of the mounting. CONSTITUTION:When printing roll paper, the protecting cover 24 is fitted to the bottom of an electronic desk calculator 1 under a state that its opening section 25 is positioned at the side not opposed to the type wheels 13. The electronic desk calculator 1 is held under a state floated only by the height sections of pins 27a, 27b protrusively set up to the upper surface of the protecting cover 24 because the pins 27a, 27b are not fitted to through holes 28 shaped to the bottom of the electronic desk calculator 1 under the state, and the type rings 13 are also protected because the opening section 25 is not opposed. When printing sheet paper 8, on the other hand, the protecting cover 24 is fitted so that the opening section 25 is opposed to the type wheels 13. Accordingly, the pins 27a, 27b are fitted to the through holes 28, and the type wheels 13 are faced to the position of printing through the opening section 25. When sheet paper 8 is small, the calculator can be positioned accurately by conforming the opening section 25 to the position of printing. |
