PURPOSE:To prevent a stepped section from being generated on a joint section, by leading a connecting wire through a mat to fit floaters at both ends of the wire and to lay the mat, and by fitting a stopper engaged with an attendant- wire inserting slot. CONSTITUTION:A mat 1 is laid in order on a mound 6 formed previously under water depth and is suspension-moved down in a state that floaters 8 at both ends of a wire are floated on the sea. After that, a mat 1' is suspended by a suspending frame 5, and one side floater 8 of the wire 7 is removed, and is led through an attendant-wire inserting slot for the mat 1'. Then, a stopper 9 engaged with the attendant-wire inserting slot is fitted, and when the wire 7 is wound up, then the stopper 9 is engaged with the inserting slot of the mat 1' and comes in contact with the mat 1. As a result, on a joint section adjacent to the mat 1, a stepped section is not generated, and a structure can be exactly set.
