PURPOSE:To perform self-timer operation display matched with environmental conditions and photographic distance by controlling the sounding volume of a sounding body corresponding to an ambient noise level or focusing ring set position signal, and performing light emission display when the level or signal is not within a limited value range. CONSTITUTION:Once self-timer setting and operating switches 11 and 12 are turned on, a clocking counter 13 starts counting to supply pulses to a sounding body 8 through analog switches 22 and 23. The sounding body operates as a microphone while not in sounding operation to detect the level of ambient noises and while a noise level voltage is developed at the output of an operational amplifier 44, audibility correcting circuits 34-36 are selected. The noise level voltage and the output voltage of a distance resistance 54 are operated by an operational amplifier 59; when the operated values exceed limit values, a comparator 68 generates an output H to turn off the switch 23, and consequently while sounding operation is stopped, a light emitting diode 9 flashes to obtain self-timer operation display. |
