<p>The device is intended for the decoration of walls, pieces of furniture, household appliances, heating apparatuses, refrigerators and the like. It is characterised in that it consists of at least one panel 1, the face 1a of which (which face is not visible in the figure) receives a non-removable decoration such as lacquered paintwork, whilst the other face is provided with holding members 1c, 1d, 1e for independent decorations such as earthenware tiles 2. The user can keep the decoration of the face 1a originally placed on the visible side, or adopt the decoration of his choice by turning the panel 1 around and engaging standard tiles 2 in the channels 1c and 1d.
