PURPOSE:To obtain operation display always easy-to-recognize state through a self-timer operation display for a camera which uses usually a sounding body, by switching to light-emitting body display when the level of ambient noise exceeds a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:According to the output of a frequency divider 13, a sounding body 8 functions alternately as a sounding body and a microphone and audibility correcting circuits detect a noise that mankind feel according to the level of ambient noises to vary a sounding level. When it is judged that the noise level is higher than a specific value, the driving signal for the sounding body is ceased on the basis of the output signal of a comparator 68 and a light emitting diode 9 turns on to flash for displaying the operation of a self-timer, so it is confirmed easily under a very noisy condition. |
