PURPOSE:To regenerate the ink medium easily with high accuracy by a method wherein the ink medium is filled with ink under a melted state by means of a scoop-up roller and excessive ink is scraped off by means of a blade when regenerating the ink medium formed by a sheet-shaped porous supporter. CONSTITUTION:The ink medium 12 (16) manufactured by filling and coating the holes and one surface of the sheet-shaped porous supporter 11 with thermofusing ink is forwarded to a roller 18 under a state that ink removed sections 12e are formed as the result of recording by means of a multi-head consisting of a stylus electrode 14 and a segment electrode 15. The roller 18 scoops up thermofusing ink in an ink tank 17 under a melted state, and attaches and filles the ink to the ink medium 16. The quantity of ink on the surface of the ink medium 16 is controlled by means of the blade 19. |
