PURPOSE:To mount a printing head easily, and to reduce the number of parts by using a member setting up the printing head to a carrier frame as a clamp made of an elastic body while mounting a ribbon guide to said clamp. CONSTITUTION:The clamp 13 consists of plastic having elasticity and takes approximately L-shaped section form, and a fitting section 14 for setting up the printing head to the carrier frame 3, a push section 17 for fixing the printing head 7 and the ?-shaped ribbon guide 18 are formed to the clamp. The clamps 13 (a pair) shaped in this manner are mounted to the frame 3 by connecting fitting sections 14 to shafts 12 continuously set up into the encasing concave sections 9 of the frame 3. The printing head 7 is placed so that the connecting holes 11 are fitted to bosses 10, the clamps 13 are turned to the insides, and the printing head 7 is fixed to the frame 3 under a pushed state by means of the push sections 17. A printing ribbon 20 is introduced between a platen 1 and the head 7 by means of the ribbon guides 18. |
