PURPOSE:To obtain wide scanning width in spite of small size by using two scanning lenses which make allotted scans to overall scanning width. CONSTITUTION:This photoscanner consists of one rotary polygon mirror 21, the light source part composed of two semiconductor laser light sources 15 and 15' arranged facing mirror surfaces 21a of said rotary polygon mirror 21 and collimating lenses 20 and 20' which collimate light outputs of the semiconductor lasers, two F.theta lenses pairing with said light sources 15 and 15', and plane mirrors 19 and 19' arranged behind the lenses 16 and 16' corresponding to said lenses 16 and 16'. Those plane mirrors are so arranged that the scanning directions light projected on image planes 1a are in parallel substantially to each other. The overall scanning width is divided into parts and the F.theta lenses correspond to said parts, so the focal length of the F.theta lenses is shortened, reducing the size of the device. |
