PURPOSE:To minimize the interrupting time of telephone in case of program search to the end of message, by storing a tape count value representing the message end position, and quickly traversing a tape up to the count value even if the tape is stopped on the way of reproduction. CONSTITUTION:When the recording of a business message is finished, the value of a counter 17 in the time represents the length of running of a tape 12 and the message end point, then a control circuit 3 stores the count value in a storage circuit 20. Further, in the listening of reproduction by means of the remote control, the circuit 3 monitors the running count value of the tape at the reproduction operation and the result of comparison in a comparison circuit 22 for the value stored as the recording end position in advance in the circuit 20, and when they are coincident with each other, the tape reproduction is stopped. |
