发明名称 PRODUCTION OF FIBER REINFORCED POROUS COMPOSITE MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To produce a titled composite material having high strength in all disrections by embedding or mixing carbon fibers which are applied with metallic films into or with metallic powder under no pressure, and subjecting the resultant preliminarily sintered bodies to chipping, mixing, and pressure molding then to sintering again. CONSTITUTION:Carbon fibers 10 which are applied with metallic films of Cu, Ni, Al or the like are aligned and arrayed in one direction in a vessel 11, and metallic powder 12 is put among the fibers to embed the fibers 10 in the powder 12. A cover 13 is put thereon and is pressed lightly from above. The vessel 11 is heated in a furnace of a reducing atmosphere to calcine the powder 12 and to bond the fibers 10 by diffusion, whereby preliminarily sintered bodies 14 are produced. The bodies 14 are chipped to fine granular bodies 15 which are mixed in a vessel 16 and are then put into molding dies 17, whereby the bodies are pressure molded to prescribed shapes. The resultant pressure molded moldings 18 are again sintered in a furnace of a reducing atmosphere, whereby the isotropic fiber reinforced porous composite material is produced.
