ELECTROMAGNETIC FUEL INJECTOR

PURPOSE:To achieve the stable function of an open/close valve by constructing the open/close valve for closing a fuel injection port integrally with a spherical valve chip section and a tubular slide section while providing a gap tolerance of specific dimension between the outer diameter of the slide section and the inner diameter of its guide hole. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic fuel injector 21 is equipped with a plunger type open/close valve 31 in a guide hole 24 made at the core section of a valve housing 22 provided with a fuel injection port 23 at the tip. Said valve 31 is held at the close position by an armature 34 to be pressed by a spring 26 inserted into the front end section of a fixed core 28, where the armature 34 will open the open/close valve 31 when attracted conventionally by means of an electromagnetic coil 29. Said valve 31 is made by integrally combining a valve chip 32 having a spherical surface 32a and a hollow tubular slide section 33 and a gap allowance of 2-15mu is provided between the outer diameter (B) of the slide section 33 and the inner diameter (C) of the guide hole 24.
