PURPOSE:To reduce the loss of a transistor chopper by using the electromagnetic energy stored in an inductance of wirings as the base current of a transitor forming a chopper circuit. CONSTITUTION:A current flowing rate controller 12 controls the ON and OFF of a transistor TR1 in response to the depressing amount of an accelerator 11. A transistor TR2 is switched ON or OFF by the ON or OFF of the transistor TR2 is switched ON, a base current IB is supplied to a transistor 5 forming a chopper circuit, thereby turning the transistor 5 ON. When the trasistor 5 is OFF, the energy stored in the inductance L1 of wirings or the like is charged to a capacitor C1 through a diode D4. The electric charge charged in the capacitor C1 is used as the base current of the transistor 5 through the transistor TR2. |
