PROCESS FOR PRODUCING IMPROVED ALKYD RESIN EMULSIONS

The invention is concerned with improved air drying emulsions based on oil and phenol modified alkyd resins. The emulsions provide enhanced storage stability over long periods, owing to the introduction of copolymers carrying the carboxy groups. The enhanced storage stability can be observed in the form of delivery as well as in application form of the emulsion.
