<p>D-6929(Bi) COLLAPSIBLE LATTICE AND FRAME CONSTRUCTION Long bar elements are interconnected in a regular geometric, cross sectional pattern (triangles; or other polygons) by means of crossbars, hinged together in pairs and to respective two long bars. The short bars of a pair can be locked and are, possibly, spring-biased. Diagonal struts or cables reinforce the construction. Foldable panels or roll-out sheets can cover the sides. Regular hinges of elastic flexure elements can be employed.</p> |
