PURPOSE:A bundle of short-cut fibers with false-twisting snarls is covered with a covering yarn to produce fancy yarns with a great variety of yarn forms. CONSTITUTION:The bundle of short-cut fibers 2 from the front rollers 1, 1' in the spinning frame is fed to the rotary hollow spindle 3 at a overfeed of 40-130%. False-twisting snarls are formed on the bundle between the front rollers 1, 1' and the spindle 3 and the bundle 2 is covered with the covering yarn 5. The lengths L1, L2 at the snarl covering part A1, A2 become longer as the overfeed rate becomes larger, on the contrary, the pitch B between the snarl covering parts becomes shorter. |
