PURPOSE:To secure a multivane type rotary Stirling cycle engine being excellent in efficiency, besides compact in size, by partitioning off the plural number of chambers enclosed by a cylinder and a rotor annularly into a combustion chamber, a heating chamber, an expansion chamber and a cooling chamber in regular sequence. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical rotor 4 is housed inside a noncircular cylinder 1 while plural pieces, for example, eight vanes 2 are radially set to the rotor 4 in a free run manner. Likewise, a compression chamber 7, which gradually decreases its internal volume and is enclosed by a cylinder inner wall 3a, the rotor 4 and vanes 2a and 2b, ane a constant volume heating room 8 in which the internal volume is almost kept constant among vanes 2a, 2d and 2b, both are made up while an expansion chamber 9 and a contant volume cooling chamber 10 are formed as well. In addition, at the outside of each of cylinders 1a and 1c of the compression chamber 7 and the expansion chamber 9, a cooler 11 and a heater 12 are installed in a heat contact state and a radiating end 14 and a heating end 15 are connected with a great number of heat pipe groups 13. |
