PURPOSE:To improve the assembling property of a motor for a pump by engaging a stator with a stator engaging rib of a housing formed of synthetic resin, and clamping the stator via the prescribed core retainer and bolts to the housing, thereby simply positioning them at the assembling time. CONSTITUTION:A stator 29 which is composed of a core and a coil is engaged with a stator engaging rib 1e of a housing 1 formed of synthetic resin so that sides formed on the outer periphery of the core opposes bosses 1g of the housing 1. Then, the generally cylindrical part of a core retainer 33 formed on the housing 1 is guided by the rib 1v formed on the housing 1, the retainer 33 is fixed to the boss 1g of the housing 1 with bolts 32, and the stator 29 is fixed to the housing 1 with the projection 33b of the retainer 33. |
