PURPOSE:To install the titled solar heat collector on a roof firmly in a watertight manner by the mere provision of suitable fixing members on the roof by a method wherein a frame-like skirt plate is extended downward from the outer periphery of the solar heat collector provided integrally with the roof. CONSTITUTION:The heat collector fixing members 28 each comprising an angle material are attached to the upper surfaces of frame members 20 of support frames 6 fixed to batten plates 2 in such a manner that one leg of each of the fixing members 28 is fixed to each of flashing plates 22 with screws 23 while the other leg is held downward leaving some space from the outer side surface of each of the frame members 20. Further, the side ends of the fixing members 28 are connected watertight to one another and a fin type tightening member 29 made of rubber of the like is attached to the inner side surface of the lower end of each of the fixing members 28. The solar heat collector 5 is placed over the fixing members 28 through tightening members 18 attached to the bottom surface of the heat collector and is attached with the skirt plate 16 on the outer periphery thereof. Consequently, even when rain water reaches the height of the support frames 6, it is prevented from entering the solar heat collector 5 by the tightening members 29 and an upper flashing bent 27 of each of the flashing plate 22. In addition, the solar heat collector can be installed on the roof firmly in a stabilized condition by merely covering the outerpeirphery of the solar heat collector with the skirt plate 16. |
