PURPOSE:To make it possible to support the whole of the titled device on the roof in a stabilized condition and to deal with the drainage of rain water effectively by a method wherein a heat collector section of the device is placed on support frames fixed to a part of the roof having no roofing plate thereon while a hot water storage tank section of the device is placed on the adjoining part of the roof covered with a roofing plate. CONSTITUTION:The part of the roof defined between the support frames 6 is kept exposed without placing batten plates 2 and water proof paper and pipes relating to the heat collecting device are arranged in that part of the roof. Further, the heat collector section 5a of the device is placed on frame members 20 of the support frames 6 through the fixing members and flashing plates 22 and the skirt plate 16 is fixed to the fixing members so as to cover the latters. At the same time, the hot water storage tank section 5b is placed on the roof plate 4 through a support member 47. Thus, with the above structure, rain water falling on the heat collector section 5a flows down along the outer sides of the support frames 6 and is prevented from entering that section by fin type tightening members 29. On the other hand, in the case of the hot water storage tank section, rain water is, in general, liable to enter that section because not so strict watertightness is required of the section and there is a danger of the rain water entering the section and overflowing from inside to fall down on the roof. Therefore, the section 5b is placed on the part of the roof covered with the roofing plate so as to deal with the drainage of rain water effectively. |
