CATALYST BURNING UNIT

PURPOSE:To make a discharged gas clean by a method wherein the first and second catalysts are arraned at the upstream and downstream of the flow of the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical evaporation element 2 having a suction wick at its lower part is exposed at the inner lower part of the fuel evaporation chamber 6 formed between the cylindrical outer column 4 with several gas holes 3 therein and the cylindrical inner column 5 with no gas holes. The upper part of the inner cylinder 5 is closed by the top plate 10 with several gas holes 9 and at the upper part of the fuel evaporation chamber 6 is arranged the first ring-shaped catalyst 12 with several small holes 11 fixed by both outer cylinder 4 and the inner cylinder 5. At the upper part of the first catalyst 12 is fixed the second circular plate-like catalyst 14 with several small holes 13 at the upper part of the outer cylinder 4. Thereby, the fuel mixture can be completely burnt with the second catalyst and thus the discharged gas is made clean.
