PURPOSE:To make a display easily recognizable from remote places by providing the display which elongates or contracts in an arc shape according to the rotating quantity of a rotary volume control around the knob. CONSTITUTION:When a knob 5 is rotated in an arrow X direction to increase volume, a connecting part 6 rotates according to the rotation of the knob 5 and further a shielding membrane 7 rotates according to the part 6. Here, while one end 7b of the membrane 7 is guided by the tapered surface 8a of a photoconductor 8 and the cutting part 8b of the 1st guide 9, said end deflects like an arrow A, and enters the spacing between the guide 9 and the 2nd guide 10. The other end 7c of the membrane 7 detaches from the other end 8c of the photoconductor 8 as much as one end 7b of the membrane 7 enters the spacing. The light past the photoconductor 8 by as much as the angle during this time irradiates a display window 2. |
