PURPOSE:To prepare the titled composition having high safety and excellent safety and feeling to the skin, and useful for the remedy of liver-spots, freckles, dark skin, pimples, etc., by using a specific dicarboxylic acid ester as an active component. CONSTITUTION:The objetive composition contains 0.1-40wt% 7-13C dicarboxylic acid ester of formula (n is 5-11; R1 is ethyl or isopropyl; R2 is ethyl, isopropyl or H), e.g. monoethyl pimelate, as an active component. Although it is already known that the dicaboxylic acid has a pharmacological activity to cure stains, freckles, dark skin, pimples, etc., it is diffucult to form the dicarboxylic acid in an administrable form. The dicarboxylic acid ester used in the present composition has high stability in the composition, can be reconstituted to dicarboxylic acid by the enzymatic activity in the skin when applied to skin, and exhibits remarkable remedying effect to the above symptoms of the skin. Furthermore, the troubles such as skin irritation, etc. can also be eliminated. |
