A hoisting installation for mines has an elevator (14) which extends through a lined borehole (10, 11) serving as a shaft, and substantially fills the cross-section thereof, both for guiding the elevator and for counteracting any escape of material during the hoisting operation. Use is preferably made of separate boreholes (10, 11) forthe ascending and descending runs (20, 28) of the elevator (14) if the elevator is a bucket elevator. |
