SOLID ELECTROLYTE BATTERY

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve ion conductivity of solid electrolyte generated as a discharge product substance and obtain a battery of lithium-iodine system wherein voltage drop due to discharge is small and self-discharge is little as well by adding zeolite containing lithium in an iodine charge transfer complex acting as the positive electrode. CONSTITUTION:As Li zeolite is added to an iodine complex of the positive electrode 1, ion electric conductivity of iodine lithium generated in the interface between the positive electrode 1 and the negative electrode 2 is improved and further the diffusion of the positive electrode iodine on the negative electrode side in the period of preservation is suppressed due to adsorption action of zeolite so as to reduce the self-discharge.
