PURPOSE:To realize a multi-way speaker system of good sound quality, by providing a circuit which divides the input signals to the bands and covering the circuit network with an electromagnetic shielding substance. CONSTITUTION:A woofer 2, a speaker 3 and a tweeter 4 are provided in a cabinet exclusively for the low, medium and high sound bands respectively. At the same time, a circuit network 6 covered with an electromagnetic shielding substance 8 is added into the cabinet 1. The network 6 divides the input audio signals supplied from an input terminal 5 to the bands and supplies them to the speakers 2-4. The network 6 comprises a coil 6a, a capacitor 6b, etc. The substance 8 is made of a material having an electromagnetic shielding effect and formed into such a shape that has no face to counter the speakers 2-4. Thus the occurrence of standing waves due to the drive of the speakers 2-4 is reduced. As a result, the network 6 is protected from the standing waves. |
