This invention is concerned with an apparatus which inserts a cap into a pipe member and fixes them. This appts. is composed of a frame(11), a cylinder appts(20), cramp appts(48), and a guide member(67). The said cylinder appts. stands vertically and moves from the bottom of a pipe member(23) to the top along the axis of a frame. The said cramp appts. picks up a pipe member and moves to the upside along the said axis. The said guide member is operated by the force of a cylinder appts.(20) and has the upper surface of a cap and the surface of a pipe member contacted and fits them when the axes of a cap and a pipe member are the same.
