PURPOSE:To suppress the reflection of outputted light at the end surface of an optical fiber and reinput to the laser diode, by performing adjustment so that the light outputted from the laser diode is converged at the end surface of the optical fiber, and applying a matching agent to the end surface of a rod lens. CONSTITUTION:The light outputted from the laser diode changes a light path by the rod lens, and it is converged at an image forming point (g).
