PURPOSE:To perfom grinding finish on the pipe end and around the pipe end part at the same time in such a way that a rotary grinding stone in L-letter shape on the sectional form is used on the surface to be ground. CONSTITUTION:A rotary grinding stone 10 is concentrically brouht into contact and arranged with a discoid grinding stone 11 which is parallel to the pipe end, and with a cylindrical grinding stone 12 which is parallel to the pipe core, and it is provided with the surface to be ground in L-letter shape on the sectional form. After a pipe 1 to be machined is rotationally driven in the condition that it is pressed down with a roller 6, and the core of the rotary grinding stone 10 is made consistent with the core of the pipe 1 by pushing up a rocking stand 16 with a cylinder device 31, an air cylinder device 20 is expanded, and the discoid grinding stone 11 is pressed down to the pipe end. Then, downward turning of the rocking stand 16 is allowed by contracting the cylinder device 31, and the cylindrical grinding stone 12 is pressed down on the innner circumference of the pipe end part 1a by its downward turning impetus. Thus, the pipe end of the pipe end part 1a and the inner circumference are ground and finished at the same time. |
