PURPOSE:To automatically finish and machine the free curvature at any narrow part with high accuracy in such a way that a link arm at which tip a grinding belt is provided is fitted to a main spindle head part of a machine tool, and the link arm is rocked by turning the main spindle. CONSTITUTION:An arm fitting member 3 to which a base arm 4 is fitted with a shaft 7 is fitted to a main spindle head 1 of a machine tool. An intermediate arm 5 which is provided with a shaft 9 is fitted to the tip of the base arm 4 with a shaft 8. A motor 19 which is fixed through a bracket 18 to the base arm 4 drives a grinding belt 24 which is fitted to the tip arm 6 through a pulley 22. Each arm 4-6 is rocked through worm-wheels 10, 14a, 17a, bevel gears 12, 12a, 15, 15a by means of a worm 11 which is fitted at the tip of the main spindle 10. Turning of the main spindle 10 is controlled with a numerical controller. |
