PURPOSE:To prevent generation of abnormal sound at bearings by a method wherein the synthetc resinous retainer includes impact modifier by a smaller amount in the surface layer of a certain part than in the other parts or includes no impact modifier, thereby preventing wear of rolling members and inner and outer rings. CONSTITUTION:The impact modifier-added synthetic resinous retainer 10 molded by the injection molding technique or the like includes the impact modifier 12 such as glass fiber, mineral fiber, ceramic fiber, metallic fiber or the like by a much smaller amount in the surface layer 11 of a certain part than in the other parts 13, or includes no impact modifier therein. The necessary part locations such as a pocket part 14 for retaining rolling members and sprag and rolling quid surface of the retainer opposing to the inner and outer rings. In this part a very slight amount of or no impact modifier is contained and the thickness (t) of the surface layer is designed to be 0.01-0.1mm.. |
