PURPOSE:To improve the shearing performance by placing a required member at the outside of a distribution gear secured to upper and lower drums then restricting the distance between the centers of both gears to the narrowing direction. CONSTITUTION:Discs 9, 10 having the diameter same as that of the pitch circle of distribution gears 5, 6 are secured to the outside of distribution gears 5, 5 and 6, 6. When the gears 5 and 6 are geared in the proper state, the circumferential end faces of both discs 9, 10 will contact each other. The radial reaction forces produced on the gears 5, 6 at the cutting of a material are shared by both discs 9, 10 and since the additional resistance due to this reaction force is only the rolling friction between both discs 9, 10, the driving force to be transmitted to the drum 1 can be used effectively for the cutting of the material. |
