PURPOSE:To manufacture the optical information recording medium, which consists of a substrate and a recording layer, uses the track of the recording layer as a reflecting layer and a section except the track as a light absorbing layer, employs the flat substrate and efficiently executes tracking servo. CONSTITUTION:The recording layer 2 is formed onto the substrate 1. The recording layer 2 consists of the reflecting layer 3 of the track and the light absorbing layer 4. The titled medium is manufactured by forming a photo-resist layer 5 to the substrate. A photo-resist picture is formed by shaping a pattern (the track) to the photo-resist layer through the use of a normal writing method or the operation of image-like exposure. A section not exposed is removed by a solvent, and the surface is developed. The sections exposed (convex sections) of the photo-resist layer and the surface of the substrate are hydrophilic-treated by a liquid such as a chromic acid mixed liquid. The sections exposed are removed by a solvent. A recording layer forming liquid is applied onto the surface of the substrate to be treated, heated and dried, and the recording layer is obtained. |
