CURRENT COLLECTOR FOR LEAD-ACID BATTERY

PURPOSE:To facilitated continuous filling of a paste-like active mass by forming a thicker nonpunched portion than a punched portion in the circumference of the punched portion of a current collector for lead-acid battery. CONSTITUTION:A current collector for a lead-acid battery is formed by setting thicker nonpunched metal plate portions 2 and 4 and a terminal forming metal plate portion 1 than a punched portion 3 in the circumpherence of right and left and top and bottom of the punched portion. Therefore, coating of a paste-like active mass in the punched portion is made correctly and readily. Since the active mass is not coated to the terminal portion, life deterioration by breakage of a terminal connector is prevented, and active mass filling efficiency is increased.
