PURPOSE:To omit a vacuum switch, by rotating a suction cylinder when sheets of paper which are not counted are detected on a holder and opening a duct by the operation of a proximity switch to count them. CONSTITUTION:When a holder 1 is closed, the leading edge of sheets of paper approaches a suction shaft, and a signal is outputted from a close position detecting switch 11 to drive a vacuum pump 13 through a pump motor driving control part 22. The signal of the switch 11 is transmitted to a counting motor driving part 25 through a delay circuit 24, and a suction shaft 2 is rotated and is revolved on its axis. A signal is outputted from a proximity switch 17 by the movement of an operating piece 16 to open a solenoid valve, and the first paper is attracted to the suction shaft to start counting. Then, the counting operation is continued, and when paper on the holder 1 are consumed not to output a paper detection signal from an uncounted paper detecting part 28, a signal to reset a valve 15 and respective operating parts to initial states is outputted from a count end detecting part 29 by the frist signal from the switch 17. |
