PURPOSE:To facilitate the attaching work of the elastic joint by a method wherein fittings to be attached to the flange part of the elastic joint are secured by fixing members. CONSTITUTION:The fixing plates 11, 12, 13 of the flange 1 and the fittings 21', 22', 23' are connected integrally through rubber members 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36. All of the fittings 21', 22', 23' are attached to the fixing members 5, 5 under being compressed toward the axial direction of the flange 1. When the elastic joint is attached to two pieces of rotary shafts, one of the rotary shaft is inserted into and fixed to the hole 14 of the spline shaft of the flange 1 while the flange of the other rotary shaft is secured to the fittings 21', 22', 23' by penetrating bolts through each holes thereof and securing them with nuts. It is not necessary to remove the fixing members 5. |
