PURPOSE:To perform uniform grinding without producing any abrasion on the angular parts in such a way that pads on whose surfaces emery papers are arranged are provided at the final end part of a wooden product carrying conveyor in order to grind the surfaces of the wooden product. CONSTITUTION:Wooden product 3, such as square lumber, etc. are carried by conveyors 1, 2. Pads 4, 5 on whose surfaces emery papers 7, 8 are arranged are provided to be adjustable by position regulators 6a, 6b. The number of the pads 4, 5 is made equivalent to the number of side surface of the wooden product 3. When the wooden product 3 is expelled out of the conveyors 1, 2, each side is ground by the pads 4, 5. Since the emery papers 7, 8 are stationary, all the surfaces can be uniformly ground without producing abrasion on the angular parts. If the emery papers 7, 8 are worn, they are wound up by rolls, and the grinding planes are shifted. |
