Chilled water plant for air conditioning - has auxiliary circuit by=passing refrigeration plant controlled by thermostatic valves

The refrigeration circuit, producing chilled water, consists of a refrigerator (1) supplying the chilled water to an air conditioning plant (3). The refrigerator is cooled by water from a cooling tower (5). The additional plant consists of filters (7), automatic purge equipment (8) and two groups of interconnecting valves (6). The valves (6) can be manually or automatically controlled by ambient temperatures and cooling water thermostats or an humidistat. Through the operation of the valves the circuit can be operated with the refrigerator bypassed and using either or both of the circulating pumps (2,4).
