The flush for w.c's comprises a tap (10) controlled by a float. As the water level rises in the main reservoir (1), a ball (7) blocks a hole in the base of a secondary reservoir (2). When the water level reaches the orifice (8), water passes into the secondary reservoir, causing the other float (5) to rise and lift the plug (3) which remains open until the water level in the main reservoir falls below the base of the secondary reservor, whereupon the cycle is repeated. The time between flushes is adjusted using the handle (6) which alters the size of the orifice.
|
