PURPOSE:To replace video cassettes at random, by allowing a rack where video cassettes stood vertically are arranged horizontally to freely slide horizontally, and extracting and returning a cassette made coincident with a cassette box by an arm. CONSTITUTION:A rack 3 consisting of a horizontal array of parts where video cassettes stood vertically are stored is moved by a motor horizontally and relatively to the cassette box 2 of a video cassette player 1, and a cassette coincident with the box 2 is inserted into the box 2 by an arm 5 driven by a motor 6 and then the box 2 is loaded into the player 1 by an arm driven by another motor. After its play, the arm 9 is operated to return the cassette to its original position in the rack 3, which is then moved to load another cassette, so that one player plays numbers of cassettes for a long time according to a program. |
