The box has at least one of its walls provided with a thin film bearing an illustration, decoration and/or inscription describing the contact of the box. The film is transparent and is applied to the wanted walls of the box. The illustration etc. are on that side of the film in contact with the box. The film is made of the same plastic as the box or of a material compatible with it pref. polypropylene or polymethylpentene). The thin film may be attached to the wall fitting into a moulded region of the box and cannot be removed once attached. The illustration etc. may be textured. The advantage lies in the film's being permanently fixed to the box (making removal and falsification difficult) and in its decorating the plain box.
