The rigging is for a skiff or other light wind-propelled vessel, and comprises masts and spars attached to the hull by an articulated joint allowing folding within the space defined by the top surface of the hull. The masts and spars comprise two converging arms (12a,12b) joining at an articulated joint (11), to which the two adjacent sides of a polygonal sail (14) are attached. A framework on either side of the sail comprises two arms (18a,18b) attached to the middle portions of the convergent arms, and one or more arms (18c) extending away from the articulated joint. At the free end of this latter arm a tack (19) is attached, passed through an eye (20) for hoisting the sail.
|
