<p>The pump body is topped by a cover inside which a small printed circuit is fitted. The printed circuit carries all the components necessary to the functioning of the different accessories utilised with the pump. The printed circuit has two flexible terminals connected to the power supply and a number of output terminals accessible through a slot in the cover to a suitable connector. The system offers a simplification of mounting washer components, and a reduction in interconnecting wiring under the vehicle dash panel. The slot is formed such as to prevent incorrect connections by the provision of grooves on the upper surface of a folded-over section, cooperating with two respective ribbed sections.</p> |
