<p>The sailboard accessory allows a jib to be added, and comprises a rigid fitting consisting of two tubes of aluminium 4 to 5cm in dia. These are of the same length and slightly curved, and are fixed on opposite sides of a conventional wishbone by sleeves, and connected together by a third sleeve, in which there is a central hole for a stay on the sail. Locking cleats are also provided for sail adjustment. The movable part comprises a lozenge-or triangular-shape jib to which a stay is secured, the stay being also fixed to the mast head, the front sleeve, and the mast foot, to hold the sail in place. A rope passing through the lateral sleeves and two locking cleats allows adjustment of the jib.</p> |
