PURPOSE:To provide piezo-electric element on an electronic time piece with a simple construction by electrically connecting transparent electrodes arranged on the top and the undersurface of a plate-shaped transparent piezo-electric element to an electronic circuit inside a case with a conductive member. CONSTITUTION:A plate-shaped transparent piezo-electric element 4 is fitted into a front side opening 2 of a case 1 through a packing 5 to protect a display 3 housed therein and plays a role of a glass. A pair of transparent electrodes 7 and 8 are formed opposite to each other on the top and the undersurface of the element 4. The transparent electrodes 7 and 8 are electrically connected to a circuit board 14 carrying LSI components 13 at both ends of the undersurface of the element through coil springs 11 and 12 made of a conductor. A display 3, the circuit substrate 14 and the like are fixed integral on a resin housing 15. |
